Description:
Image #IPX-1J (Java): 360-degree view from tower/bridge above the Throughfall Displacement Experiment (TDE) at the Walker Branch Watershed temperate forest study area, Oak Ridge, Tennessee, USA. Dr. Paul Hanson (pictured) is standing to the west of the camera. The TDE "dry" plot (with plastic rain displacement troughs) is below the tower, and the "ambient" and "wet" plots without plastic troughs extend to the west of the tower (IPIX image taken about 1130 on 5th April 2000).
